CommentsGenerally it's best to wait approximately 28-30 days to paint or stain fresh stucco, concrete or plaster. However, if the coat is very thin (such as 1/8"), a seven-day waiting period is probably sufficient. For example, it's OK to paint interior veneer plaster after just 48 hours.
