To win a city contract, you first must have the required credentials, contractors license and business permits to operate in that city. You must also have sufficient insurance that meets minimum city standards. Next, since most municipal contracts are a matter of public record, there is generally a bidding process. You should contact your local city to get specific written instructions on the requirements specific to that jurisdiction. Then it's up to you to get aggressive and go in and win the business.
