Yes, the wall is as described. Actually, the cinder block measures 10" not 11-5/8" as I originally thought. There was an attempt to strengthen the wall at one time by filling every other cell... no steel though. It looks like we'll be rebuilding, unless we can find an engineered solution. -Dave C.
