CommentsOne remedy to covering the gap between the edge of countertop and the wall is to install a backsplash and sidesplash (often about 6" tall). Usually, this material is the same thickness as the countertop and is sufficient to cover the gap. Alternatively, you can fill the gap with matching caulk. Builders Websource.
