Builders Websource addressed a similar question about OSB vs. plywood in a previous reply at: http://www.builderswebsource.com/_discBT/000003b6.htm Generally, however, if the siding is exposed to periodic moisture, plywood performs better. The moisture barrier should be specified consistent with manufacturer recommendations for a masonry-clad exterior. Builders Websource
