Ceramic tile over concrete slab foundation

I am installing ceramic tile over a concrete slab foundation in a bathroom. The bathroom is approximately 12' X 12'. There is a crack in the foundation. How should I treat the crack? Does the entire floor need to be treated, or can I just treat the crack? Thank you.
