Re: clogged cold water lineFrom: info@builderswebsource.com CommentsIf your cold water lines are getting clogged nearly every few days with small rust deposits, this is a sign that your pipes may need replacement. Do you have old galvanized iron pipes for your water supply? These pipes begin to rust inside and, with age, the inner dimension becomes constricted with rust build-up. Plumbing made from copper or plastic does not have this problem. The other possibility is that your incoming water supply contains debris....or the line from your water meter to your house is old galvanized iron pipe.
