disabled homeowners????From: tamrabelcher@hotmail.com CommentsI am looking for any information I can get on being a disabled homeowner in need of some home improvement. I am disabled permanently, and just bought an older home that- built in the 1920's- has no septic tank or well. It runs off of a spring-very shallow- and the septic line goes to the creek on the property. I need to have a well put in and to do that I need a septic system put in, as without a septic inspection I can not have a well dug. I am on a very fixed income, and am unable to obtain traditional financing. DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF A PROGRAM OR ORAGNIZATION IN WESTERN MARYLAND THAT HELPS DISABLED OR LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS WITH HOME REPAIRS AND UPGRADES?Any information would be helpful and certainly appreciated.
