A more precise structural loading diagram is required to compute the actual load imparted on this portion of the header. Is it possible to provide a written diagram showing all key dimensions, walls, roofs, as well as materials so that the tributary and point loads can be estimated? Direction of loads (including joists) is also important. You may fax it to 650-299-0668.
