My wife and I have found a fairly large lot (about 3/4 of an acre) for sale within our budget on the Main Line of Philadelphia. The lot has two negatives: It is fairly close to two major roads (noise issues) and one side of the property lies right next to a gas station. The gas station is not visible from the property because of the large trees that form a natural fence.

I understand that it's difficult to judge anything without more information, but do you have any thoughts about the two specific concerns we have?
