I have finished my basement. In the process I have removed a I beam center
support pole. One of those thin 1/4" thick round jobbies. The I beam is 24'
in length. This is a 3 story town home. The I beam is 10" wide. My question
is will the I beam be able to support the house safely without the center
support pole that seemed to have barely any weight baring down on it?
