We have been searching for a home in a certain part of Philadelphia and have
come away very disappointed. We have decided to see if we could build a house
and have found a wonderful, reliable builder and a plan for a house that we
like. However, the plot we found is in a neighborhood of smaller and much less
expensive twins ($120-180K). The house we want to build would be around $250K.
Do you have any thoughts for situations such as this? By the way, this is in an
excellent school district and is the only lot available in our price range.
