When installing a pre-finished hardwood floor, is it possible to use a caulk
to help ensure that liquids won't penetrate in between the strips of flooring?
We have dogs, and one vomits frequently; therefore, we are concerned about using
the pre-finished, ¾" strip hardwood products, but don't want to go through
the hassle of installing unfinished hardwood flooring. Can we add a bead of
caulk to each strip as the floor is laid down to help "seal" the space
between the boards?
