WE HAD A 3000 FT. AGGREGATE DECK POURED AROUND A BUILT IN SWIMMING POOL IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR. SINCE JUNE, A LARGE SECTION OF THE DECK, (APROX. 20FT. X 15 FT.) SEPARATED BY AN EXPANSION JOINT HAS STARTED TO DROP DOWN ABOUT 1/2 TO 3/4 OF AN INCH. OR THE OTHER SIDE IS RISING UP. IT'S DIFFICULT TO TELL. ALSO 4 OF THE SECTIONS (APROX. 8FT X 7FT EACH) DIVIDED BY SAW CUTS HAVE ALL GOT A HAIR LINE CRACK FROM END TO END. IS THIS AT ALL TYPICAL OF AGGREGATE? WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN. THE DAY OF THE POUR, ABOUT 3/4 OF THE WAY DONE, IT STARTED TO RAIN VERY HEAVILY AND THEY HAD TO STOP AND CONTINUE THE NEXT DAY. THEY COVERED THE AREA WITH PLASTIC, BUT DON'T KNOW IF THIS ADDED TO THE PROBLEM. SHOULD WE INSIST ON A REPOUR OF THE DAMAGED SECTIONS?
