Front Door Lock-hole Repair QuestionFrom: scottmsmith2000@yahoo.com CommentsHere's the scenario: The wood on the side of our front door around metal plates is decomposed and the screw holes are stripped, etc. My goal is to pop out the door locks/handles and re-fill/re-drill all of the door holes and re-mount all the hardware. What would be the best method to repair my front door? (other than purchasing a new one, which is a last resort) I've been told to use Liquid Nails or similar products (Minwax ?) I thought LiquidNails was only a caulking-type product. I'm looking for the best, yet strongest solution. Opinions anyone? Please copy response to email if possible. Thanks in advance!
