We have a few more questions to clarify your configuration. Which way are the trusses going on the carport? We need to know whether the trusses are spanning the long dimension (40') or the short dimension.

Also, is there any overhang on the trusses? If so, how many feet?

Finally, will there be an interior ceiling on the trusses (such as drywall)? Is it flat or sloped?

We have confirmed that the snow load design for Anchorage is at least 40 psf, which is what we'll use in our calculation for the live load. The dead load will be in the 10-15 psf range.
