Sono Tubes

Upon digging my 24 holes for the sono tubes that are to support my deck and hot tub, I encountered two large granite boulders. (about one foot down) (one is on the corner of the tub). I'm planning on drilling the rocks to install r-bar, washing them, brushing on some bonding agent, and setting the tubes and concrete right on top of the rocks. I'm concerned about water getting between the boulder and concrete and heaving the deck during the winter. I live close to NYC and am told the frost line is about 36 inches. Do you think my plan will work? Any other suggestions?

Thanks, Bob
