We highly recommend the newer fiber-cement siding products, such as HardiPlank from James Hardie. These products carry long warranties (up to 50 years). For installation information, go to http://www.jameshardie.com/buildingproducts.htm for details.

As to your bow window, we recommend that for this area you purchase unprimed pieces. Wetting the material thoroughly prior to installation will allow it to absorb moisture and bend more easily. You should have no problem matching the countour of your bow window.
