Applying stucco is definitely an acquired skill and is generally not well suited for do-it-yourself jobs. Not only is it tedious and messy, but also potentially dangerous if you have to erect scaffolding to reach high places or second floors. If it's not applied properly, you could end up with a big mess on your hands, including uneven surfaces and cracks.

However, to educate yourself first, we recommend purchasing specialty manuals from the Portland Cement Association at http://www.portcement.org in addition to reading an excellent article in the Journal of Light Construction that talks specifically about the proper way to install stucco, including over Rastra ICFs. To read this article, click on the link to go to the Journal of Light Construction archives.
