Leaking indoor AC unit

The indoor part of my AC unit is in my basement. It sits on top of the furnace, which sits on top of the fan "area." My question is this: is it normal for the AC unit to be leaking out of the lower right and left corners (they drip every couple of seconds)? A serviceman came out and cleared the drainage line/added freon to outside unit and checked the wiring which was "good" and it's still leaking. He also checked the pan and said it's not rusted and is not leaking, but the unit leaks about 2-3 cups of water a day (on the floor and on the furnace) -- and the worst part is that it's leaking all over the furnace. This doesn't seem to be normal to me - although the serviceman said it was "just condensation" from being in the basement...that's it's near the "dewpoint". Please help because I know this isn't right - plus I don't want to damage the furnace!
