We are adding a Florida room to our saltbox home. The length of our home is 35 feet. There is a sliding glass door not quite in the middle of the 35 wall where we are adding our new room which will be 16'x 16'. We felt the room should be centered on the existing wall but due to the layout of the windows and doors that will not be able to happen. Is there any rule as to how close a new wall should come to existing windows? The new room will be entirely windows on all three sides, Andersen glider doors. Please advise.
