I have recently sold my house. The new home owner had elected to have a home inspection done. The only thing the inspector said needed to be done was that the Furnace need to be cleaned. Which I think is weird since the house is only 2 years old and the inspector didn't put the furnace back together right after the took it apart. He didn't place the front panels on right so the safety switches were active and the furnace wouldn't run. well anyway I called and the going price is $100 for a furnace cleaning, I was wondering what is done in a cleaning and if this is can be DIY project or not... thanks Jeff
