different deck design

I want to build a deck on my second level but this will block my lower level windows. I was thinking of putting acrylic or glass block on the floor of the deck to allow light to pass through it. I cannot find anything on the software titles or at my local hardware stores that have anything like this in their plans. To think of it I have never seen anyone do this before. Any help on where I might be able to find info on this type of design would be really appreciated. Thanks!
