Sorry, but this is in its early stage and I have not been able to calculate the weight. I can tell you that 13 stick-built trusses that carry the load of the roof above will be resting on it. Ranch home, no 2nd floor. Beam placement is to be where truss and ceiling joist tip rest on outer exterior wall, that will be removed. I know the span is large, and am concerned that the beam will be too wide and will not be able to flush mount it to my already low ceilings. Also will hangers to tie in the tips of the rafter and ceiling joist ends to the beam. ---Thank you----
