I just had the bottom foot of my wire-mesh hardcoat stucco replaced around the perimeter of my home due to builder error. The builder would not fix, so I hired an established stucco company to do the work and they did a nice, meticulous job. Unfortunately, when they applied the color coat, either a brief but strong rain shower 24 hours later or possibly a drop in the temperature that night below 40 degrees has apparently interfered with the water resistance of the coat. It appears that rain running down the face of the old stucco soaks into the new coat at the bottom. What can be done??? is their any product that can replace the water resistance of the color coat? Any help would be appreciated.
