Years ago my husband filled our backyard with top soil and it created a hole around the air conditioning unit, which is on the ground. Now water gets trapped in the hole during heavy rains and water gets into the basement. How do we fix it? We have thought about raising the air conditioning unit, but because it's old, we may end up having to buy a new one. Thanks.
