From: paielli@pacbell.net CommentsA couple of years ago we had our kitchen remodeled, complete with new maple cabinets. They are stained a natural, light color. My wife would like to put stain over them to get a darker finish. Is this advisable? And do we need to sand them first? I don't think they have any lacquer or varnish on them, but I don't know for sure. Thanks.
